Description last modified by frank diff My laptop is a Centrino, had to follow this workaround for p3. We are observing this problem as well on some systems. Simply changed the registry as suggested intelp;m the intelppm and the problem went away. Click Repair All to fix all issues.

Problems with Intelppm.sys and processr.sys under Virtual PC / Virtual Server
Modify the value data to ' 4 ' c. This has saved me hours of time. After contacting HP Technical Support and speaking to a supervisor we were able to solve the problem of Windows continuously rebooting after installing SP3.
I have problem with intelppm. Step 2 - Re-installed guest additions: Then press the Disable all button, to disable all non Windows services that start with Windows.
Please try to log on the system in safe mode.
After installation, test the CPU performance again. Of course, I lost all the neat integration with dynamic resizing and mouse handling.
It went back to xx4. This was exactly what was needed.
